Digital Sales Manager
The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for designing and implementing end to end strategy for Verizon Wireless digital telesales experience and engagements. This position will own best telesales routing strategies based on landing page experience, customer behaviors/profiles, usage of co-browse as well as the performance of telesales vs. each of the available sales support channel: Self-Service, Live Chat, Artificial Intelligence Bot or Paid Search. The manager will have to design and implement an offline to online customer experience and routing matrix for co-browse that will both increase customer satisfaction, as well as be net incrementally beneficial to the company's Gross Adds and Upgrade sales. Design roll-out will require that the manager/SME implement the digital telesales engagement experience on verizonwireless.com; and make sure that it works effectively with other engagement channels already on the site. Tough decisions will need to be made in areas of potential channel routing conflicts, customer engagement timing or channel re-routing conflicts. Telesales leader will need own the setup and implementation of a proper online talk to co-browse experience; and sort out any potential offline ordering conflicts. This position should be customer focused, data driven and interacts with internal and external stakeholders; including upper executive communication.
Must have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent work experience
• Six or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience in online/digital sales management, operations, platform and technology.
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Master’s degree. Even better if you have your MBA.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with program managers, analysts, designers, developers and IT resources across multiple channels.
• Six or more years of experience in online/digital sales management, operations, platform and technology.
• Three or more years of experience leveraging analytics and user testing to inform creative processes.
• Three or more years of experience in the Telesales or similar channel.
• Experience working in an Agile product development environment.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines.
• Leverage ability to analyze digital performance trends and report out on trends and opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and work with both technical and non-technical teams and/or staff.
